I made this arrangement. It is one my favorite silk flower arrangement I have ever done. I know, I know, silk flowers are in bad taste, but I can't help myself. But I do have real flowers in my house when my garden ( or my husbands garden I should say) is in full bloom.
This is an up close picture of the quilt I made. There are alot of mistakes but its pretty good considering it was the first large quilt I made.
2.oo yard sale wreath. I love the pink roses and hydrangeas.
Susan, I love your silk flowers! They look just perfect. I especially love that wreath-it looks just like Spring!

ReplyDeleteI love that quilt! so pretty!
Your flower arrangement is beautiful. I used to be purist but now find silk flowers a good addition to fresh/real. And your quilt? It's gorgeous!!!! Wow. You should be proud. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous little corner spot. I think the silk flowers are very pretty. It's a beautiful flower arrangement.

ReplyDeleteI love the entire corner! I'm a fan of silk too, can't help myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely corner! Your floral arrangement is lovely! I confess my bridal bouquet was silk! I thought I would NEVER use silk for my wedding, but I am so glad I did because to this day I still have my wedding flowers! =)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so beautiful...gives off a real feel of spring! (For those of use where spring is still struggling to come, "What a feeling!") That quilt is so lovely, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit, Karen

I love that wreath and what a steal! I posted a picture of a wreath on my blog a few weeks ago. I snapped the picture of it at an antique shop. I don't think it was as pretty as yours, and its price? $68!!! Thank you for stopping by my blog for Pink Saturday. Hope you can come again soon.
