Two Small Projects!

Good Evening Bloggers! It is cold in Myrtle Beach tonight! The weather channel is giving ice and some snow for us tonight. If we get ice all of Myrtle Beach will shut down. Drivers can't drive in any kind of increment weather here.LOL
I can't believe tomorrow is Monday already. This weekend really went by fast. I did manage to get a couple of small projects done. I thought I would share them with you.

This is a pillow I sewed and embroidered our Monogram on! I think this project turned out pretty well!! These are the colors that will be in our house,with a bigger emphasis on the creams and browns. Our sofa and love seat is burgandy, so I have to keep them for now, so I had to put some burgundy in the decor.





This is a really old pillow case. I needed something to do that was quick and easy so I decided to Valentine it up a bit!!

    So nice that you can sew like that Susan. Keep warm be safe and keep sewing is what I say. We are preparing around here I guess. THe grocery stores were crazy!

    Wow! Beautiful. BTW - Nobody can drive on ice. Doesn't matter if you've always lived in snow country or have 4-wheel drive or anythings. Actually, they used to have studded snow tires,.....

    I know you are getting excited about your house, it is so fun to get decor ready like that gorgeous pillow! I have built a couple houses, never again!! Your right, but I think giving birth is easier!

    Nicely done my friend. Wish I liked to sew ...and were better at it, I am just not a crafty person at all.

    brrr, we are freezing out here this morning. 9 degrees is too cold for this olden body of mine. :)) Thankfully, I don't have to get very far away from my fireplace.

    Love your weekend projects..and can't wait for that house to be finished and you moved in and decorating.:))

    Yes, my "little" boy and girl are now 47 and 42 and sometimes, I look at them across the room and they are little again. Especially when I see them in my grandchildren. :)
