Happy Fourth everyone! Just popped in for a quick note to share Saturdays yard sale finds! I have more that I will post later this week.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy fourth of July!! Our holiday was very quiet. Just the two of us. My hubby is a home body so he does not like to go to any fourth of July events. So we were pretty much at home all weekend!
I bought all these things for ten dollars!!!
I can not believe I found 8 Milk glass goblets.
I love the liner in this small basket!
Two roosters that will be getting a makeover! I am thinking red!
I always buy large baskets when I see them. I use them to store fabric and other craft items.
Random Finds
There are four of these leaf plates! I thought they would be good to use in a table scape for fall or at Thanksgiving. They were 1.00 for all four! They were originally at Home Goods marked for 5.99 each!
I thought this was an interesting piece. So I am asking all my creative friends out there to give me ideas on how to use this? It was 1.00.
Wow! You found some great deals!! I really do love it all and you better be glad I didn't find the roosters before you did! :) I think the wire basket would be pretty with a burlap liner. Cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog today. :)
You are on a thrifty shopping roll, my friend. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July. Sounds like a restful and relax day for you and your beloved.
Love your finds. My goodness I want to shop with you.
Love everything and those Roosters would be great in red. Great deal on the leaf plates.
AND, the wire basket is awesome. I can see it spray painted off white and lined with fabric. Could hold just about anything. Nice size. Oh and the milkglass goblets are fabulous. I purchase 4 last year just like them and love them.
Hope you have a great week dear friend. Thank you for stopping by.

Susan, Your roosters will "crow" with excitement once you paint them! I'm a big fan of wire baskets- they can look very Frenchy. You spent your money wisely! :-) Sue
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog and how delightful to come upon you when you are displaying some roosters. Love them!! Looks like you had a good take on yard sale day. Hugs. tammy
ReplyDeleteWe have a wire basket that looks like chicken wire. WHen we bought it, we had no idea what to do with it either, but it was too unusual to pass up. However, it's made a wonderful magazine holder. Maybe you have a special spot by a chair where you can put the wire basket.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great week. So nice to visit and view your great finds again. I am always inspired by the treasures you find. You sure have an eye for the best items to create with.
