I have been busy crafting on my four day weekend.
I did some little sewing projects. The purse I embroidered the butterfly design on my machine. The design is not my original. If the designer recognizes their design let me know and I will give credit where credit is due. I added some rosette trim.
The little pillow I sewed and added the trim. The little wall hanging thing was silver. I covered it with scrap booking paper and added lace and scrap book flowers. I love to alter items, scrap booking has become a second hobby for me.
I transformed these ugly gold cherubs to the glittery beauties you see below. They are all ready for my Christmas tree this year. I spray painted them and then gave a second coat of Gesso. I applied modge podge and sprinkled them with iridescent glitter.
Goodwill HAUL
I went to Goodwill Saturday morning. I found a few little items. The two little candle votive holders are from Kirkland .
Ollie's Haul
I went to Ollie's it is a discount store that sells overstock buy outs from other stores. At times I can find some neat finds. This weekend I found the little chicken wire basket. I use it to store my napkins on my kitchen table.
I found a similar larger basket at Ross sometime back. I use it store cook books. It is sitting on a bench with a Longerberger basket.
I also found this set of three wooden candle sticks. They were only eight dollars. For wooden candlesticks I thought that was pretty darn good.
You found such pretty things! Love them all. I have some of those baskets, and love using them. Great buys!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you found a lot of good deals! I like those wire lined baskets. I found some of those at Walmart in a large size too.
ReplyDeleteI love how you've re-purposed everything! The basket and the angels are my favorites. Great job!
