Day 2 of Fall Cleaning and Decorating

I am taking each room one at a time and giving it a thorough deep cleaning. I am also adding touches of fall.
This is Day 2 and I focused on the Master Bath.  

The Master Bath has French doors. It is a long galley like bath room. It has a garden tub and a full shower. It has a separate toilet room.
I am posting pictures of how I have it decorated. This is subject to change at any time.....LOL

Decorating the Master Bedroom for Fall.

I changed out the bedding in our master bedroom today for a more Fall like appearance. My decorating style is a Old World, Traditional with a little bit of country thrown in as an accent. Please ignore all the black electronic boxes, my hubbie has at least 11 in this room alone. I try to disguise them the best I can, but there are so many and the electical cords are bizzare. I shutter when the UPS truck shows at our front door. I just know it is another black box. LOL.

The bedding I purchased at Bed BATH AND BEYOND.  The pillows were a Kirkland clearance find.  I have had the lamps for years. The odd and end decor on the night stands are yard sale finds with the exception of the florals. I had those in my stash.

This is my corner in the house. I sit here and read, play on the computer and read my bible. This corner makes me feel secure for whatever reason. I had to sleep in it when I had my breast cancer surgery because it was the only place I could get comfortable. Since that time it has become my safe haven.

These are some random wall decor  I have hung in the room. The two oval shape plaques I have had forever and are my favorite.

Finally Retired!!! A New Life Begins!

I partied all day at work. I could not take pictures as I worked in a mental health center. It was possible a client could have walked by or came in to the room, so for their privacy I refrained from taking photos.
However I was able to take pictures of the wonderful gifts I received from my coworkers and friends. As always blogger would not let me post all my pictures. But here are some of my wonderful gifts.

Yard Sale Finds and altered spoons.

I picked up this candle stick at the yard sale yesterday I thought it looked so shabby chic. I will probably use it in the spring time.

This was another find. I do not know why, but something drew me to this arrangement.  I love that it looks old, I guess.

This arrangement did not look like this when I brought it home. It had pink and lavender flowers and the container looked horrible. I took out the pink roses an added some aged purple roses. I used scrap book paper and lace on the container.
I probably will not keep this as I am not a purple person.

Just wanted to show the little spoons  I altered. I collect them at yard sales. This is the first time I ever tried to alter any. I love them.
