Some of my decorations in my Guest Room

I made this little pink satin pillow. I think it turned out okay!
I love these little shadow box pictures. I have three, two with pink rose and one with yellow rosebuds. Again my camera skills were horrible today. The little rose lamp is also a yard sale find. I paid a dollar for it.
This is a picture of a cabinet in the corner of my guest room. I hope the little black faced lamb doesn't offend anyone but I thought it was precious. There is no harm intended. My husband pointed out that I didn't even bother to straiten the candle. The little urn of flowers was a goodwill find. I don't remember how much I paid for it. I got the lamb there!! The clock is a yard sale find.

Please keep in mind I am sick when I took these pics. This heart really turned out pretty. Even though it is not centered in the pic it is a perfect heart shape. If you remember earlier in my blog I bought the pink petals at the Dollar tree, so I used part of them to do this heart. I had the satin rose on hand. I think it came from AC Moore

Just a few yardsale/Goodwill finds and a project I did this weekend!!
I am so excited!! I don't have to go to the office this week! I am going to a Social Work conference the first three days and then I took Thursday and Friday off.
Up close of the embroidery I did on the blanket
I bought this little snowman at a yardsale this weekend for .50. Notice he has a little cardinal in his hand.
I bought this little christmas basket at Goodwill for a 1.91. I decorate with cardinals at xmas because it reminds me of home. The cardinal is the Kentucky State Bird.

This blanket is a twin size. I embroidered the corners with Sue Box's Circle Kitten design. I was going to do the center with an oval of the circles.......but I didn't have that much pozazzzzzzzzzzz!

I am joining Cindy over at My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.

These pictures are taken in my guest bedroom. As you can tell it still has the flat painters white. I am going to paint it this summer to a nice shade of cream or a light creamy pink.
This is another view of the quilt. I bought the quilt hanger for a dollar at a yard sale a couple of weekends ago!!
I made this embroidered quilt. It is the size of a baby blanket. First quilt I ever made!!
A close up view of the lamp, I plan to spray paint the brass bottom......I think it would look better a cream color to match the lamp. I fell in love with the pink delicate roses. I have two lamps with similar roses, however one is much smaller than this one. It is posted here on older blog post.
This is a picture of my bedside table in my guest room. The lamp I found at Goodwill for 6.96. I bought the shade at Ross's for 12.00. The other items the plate, the little lamb planter and the Victorian Boot I found at Goodwill as well.. I can't remember what I paid for them. The boot was just plain white. I spray painted it ivory and glued some pink satin roses on for the buttons on the boot. Added some silk roses.

This doll my oldest son bought for me on Mothers Day when he was 15 years old. He is now 38 and I will never let go of it!!
I found this wreath at Goodwill for 1.98. All it had on it originally was the little pink rosebuds........I added all the other florals......I sprayed some smelly stuff on it....and it smells really good!
Look what I made!! I know Valentines Day is over.........however I love hearts year round. I handmade this by glueing all the little beads on a styrophone heart shape.

A close up of the painting!
I found this Signed painting at Goodwill for 6.96. I thought it was pretty and I love the fact the canvas is round!!
Another view of the lamp!! I bought the shade at Ross's for 9.99. As you can see my television. I wish I could hide it someway........someday I will talk my hubby into building a cabinet for it.
This lamp I bought at Goodwill for a whooping 5.00 dollars!!
Up close view of the design on the lamp.
My Children when they were teenager bought this entertainment center for me for christmas. I was a single mother then and poor as a church mouse. It is a Sauder, I didn't have the heart to throw it out. My husband removed the top part and added a back to the shelves and painted it a nice ivory color!! I think it turned out really nice. The lamp on it belonged to my husbands mother who has passed many years ago. I bought the candle stick at Pier 1. I made the floral arrangement. The little teapot its in was .50 at a yard sale. The little bird I painted as well, and it was .25 at a yard sale!!
Dollar Store Candles!! For a dollar store item, they smell really good!!
Another view of the Pink Roses!!
Happy Valentines Day!! The Dollar Store had roses for 2.oo each. Pink is my favorite color!! Had to have them!! The little vase is a yard sale find for 1.o0.

I am participating in Cindy's Show and Tell Friday.

Another Goodwill find: my neon green sweade travel purse.........cute as a bug on a rug, don't you think? 2.00
This is a splurge , this little heart I paid 5.99 at CVS. But it was so cute I couldn't resist.
This is the top of the container, aren't the roses to die for?
This container is a Goodwill find. I paid too much for it, 6.96 but I liked it and it matches my decor. It has that old world look to it. Its a bit tattered, but I think that adds to its character.

This red dinner utensils is a Goodwill find for half price of 2.92 so I got it for like 1.49. I thought it would be nice to use during the Christmas season as extras for side dishes etc.
This is a top view of the basket. the red material is a baby blanket I purchased at Goodwill for 1.99.

I got this idea from another blogger. So if you recognize your idea leave me a note and I will give you credit. I put this together with things I had around my house. The picnic basket I bought at yard sale years ago for 1.00. I had the silk roses and greenery on hand, the little bear I paid 25 cents for at a yard sale, the picture frame was xmas gift. The pictures are of my two grandchildren Emily and Anthony.
