Good Evening Bloggers! If you remember before Christmas I posted about winning a 35.00 CSN gift certificate. Missi at My Cottage Charm was hosting the give away.
I thought I would post what I purchased with my gift card. It is a beautiful rose patterned throw. It will look beautiful in my new house!
Thank you Missi!!
This an up close photo of the throw.
This is the back side of the throw! I think it is as pretty as the front , if not prettier.

We Have Dry Wall!! Progress! Progress!
Good Evening Bloggers!! I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. Our festivities are still ongoing. We are visiting my daughter in Kentucky for the New Years. This is when our family will exchange gifts and celebrate our holidays.
I wanted to share with you the progress on our house. The excitement is really building with us now, so is our anxiety. We so want out of this condo. I am so excited about starting to decorate, I lay in bed at night and try to visualize what I am going to do with all the rooms.
I realize I did not share pictures of the fireplace, but I would rather wait until they get the mantle in place. A
I want to take a moment to thank God for watching over me and sending me my many many blessings. Without him in my life I am nothing. May God Bless you and Keep you, May God Shine his light upon you and give you Peace!
This is the view of the Master Bedroom. We had bay windows to make the room larger. It is a big room anyway, but we had such small bedrooms in the old house, that we wanted a Master Bedroom that was much larger~
This is my studio. I love the window. I don't think I will put any window treatments on it so I can let in all the natural light. Since I will be crafting/sewing there I can look out the window and just dream!
This is the bay windows in the Kitchen! Our Kitchen is much larger in this house than our old house!!
This is the view from the living room into the sun room!
I am not sure which bathroom this is, I think it may be the guest bathtub.
This is the loft area! Since my studio is upstairs, I think I will put my wicker furniture in the loft area! I may change my mind, but this is the plan right now.
This is the bonus room upstairs. We did not get the bonus room, however the area where the bonus room should be is there, all we would need to do is drywall it! This was an unexpected bonus for us. The builder stated the next house like ours that is built will only have the rafters. We paid extra to have the flooring laid and the door installed. We will put it together as a room after we move in.
This is the pantry doorway. It has a plant ledge over the door. I already have plans of displaying some of my roosters there!

Merry Christmas! / Update on Progress
Good Evening Bloggers! I hope everyone has everything done they need to do for Christmas. If you do then you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the holidays!!
However I just happen to come down with a Christmas cold. Our whole office at work is sick. I have tried to send one of my therapist home for days because she is sick.
I thought I would do brief posting to show you the latest progress on our house!! We have the fireplace vent in place, and the siding is up on the back of the house. The colors of the outside of the house is cream and brown.
Its getting close to being finished and I am really getting excited!!
Merry Christmas every one.

Progress on the House!!
Good Afternoon Bloggers!! It is a wet and dreary day here in Myrtle Beach!! But that did not stop my husband and I from driving out to check on progress on the house!!
I cannot wait to get out of this condo and actually have our things surrounding us, instead of condo furniture and decorations.
The builder said with the Christmas season here, it will be the middle of February before the house will be completely finished. They have to get the inspectors to check out the electricity and plumbing. It seems like it takes forever here in the South to get things inspected.
But anyhow, I thought I would share the progress! I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and wish you many blessings in the New Year. Can you believe it will be 2011!!

Sharing My Treasures and Some Finished Projects!
Hello my blogger friends!! I will get my whining out of the way first. My vacation is over and I have to get up and go back to work tomorrow. Bummer! When you go on vacation, it is a mad house when you get back to get caught up on paperwork and all the clients want to be seen immediately. Oh well, it is what it is.
I decided to share with you my treasures I bought in Jamaica. I also wanted to share some projects I finished this weekend!!
I hope you have a wonderful week, I have enjoyed catching up with all my favorite bloggers and seeing what has been happening with you since I was away, Hey I was even able to win a giveaway a CSN gift certificate via My Cottage Charm. Thank you Missi!!
My husband and I took a walk on the beach and there were Jamaican people who were selling their art work. They can be very aggressive in trying to sell you things. But all you have to do is tell them your not interested and they will stop hasseling you.
We have been to Jamaica before, and the last time we went, I bought two little roosters the size of salt and pepper shakers. This time I decided to buy these guys and add them to my collection.
We are already planning to go back to Jamaica next year around this time, so I will continue to add to my Jamaican rooster collection.
I do not like this one as well as I do the one above!! But the price was right and so I added it to my collection.
I bought these two hand towels at Walmart for 1.50. I decided to embroidery them in a Christmas design. I embroidered three red snowflakes and then put red rick rack as the bottom trim. These are a gift for my daughter. She never has time to read my blog so she won't know she is getting these.
I found these two little Christmas green tea towels at the Dollar Tree. I decided I would embroidery Christmas designs on both for a Christmas present to my daughter!! She overlooks my flaws and mistakes. LOL.
This is another little Christmas green tea towel I made for a tray liner!! I am giving both green ones to my daughter for Christmas!!
As you all know, Roses and Roosters are my two favorite things. So I bought this little blue tea towel at the Dollar Tree and decided to embroidery it with Roosters!! The trim I found at a yard sale!

Jamaica Photos
Hey blogger friends! As I promised I thought I would share just a few of our vacation pictures!! I did not want to bore you with all of the photos and tried to show the most interesting ones!!
I hope you enjoy them!! I may post others later, but for now this will do.
This is our pink palace. Our room had an ocean view from the bottom floor. Due to my health I had to have a ground floor!
I love the pink and cream colors of the buildings!! The cream is brought in through the beautiful scrolled iron railings and the gutters!!
I hear the beach calling me.........come lay on my golden sands! Let your eyes rest on the beautiful Caribbean blue!! Feel the warmth of the sun on your face!!
These step led up to the lobby. It is the back entrance from the pool! That's my sweetie standing on the steps!!
I wish I was still there!
We were entertained on the beach every day by Jamaicans who would walk the beach to earn money for their families. This gentleman at my request sang Happy Birthday to my hubby!
The ladies who make up our rooms each day took great pride in their work!! We always left a tip for them!! Each day we would have a different piece of towel art on our bed! This was the best ever, the two swans kissing are adorable!! Don't you think?
The Jamaican's do some beautiful wood art!! Don't you just love the detail in this piece!
I wanted to show you some of the art that was hanging in the lobby of the Rio Tropical!
The florals in this art work is absolutely gorgeous!
I love the bird in this piece of art work!!
I hope you enjoy them!! I may post others later, but for now this will do.

Update on the House
Good Evening Bloggers!! Progress , progress and more progress on the house!! I thought I would post the pictures we took today. The builder stated they will be putting the windows in the house tommorrow.!! I am so excited that so much was done while we were in Jamaica.
I am still tired from our flight home yesterday! The vacation was so relaxing. All we did was eat, sleep and lay on the beach and listen to Reggae music!! It was awesome! I did not have to cook a meal, clean house or listen to any sad stories! We met so many nice people and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the Jamaican people.
I will post the vacation pictures tomorrow.
This is a side View of the house!! The front of the home is the very last picture so be sure to scroll down
Another Side View.

I Won a Towell from Hunted Treasures/ Finished Project!
Good Evening Bloggers!! I was thinking today that I was worried when I moved to this small condo if I would have anything to blog about. Well that was a needless worry! LOL. I have found lots and lots to blog about.
I thought I would share with you, the towel i won from Maria and Ruth's Give Away @ Hunted Treasures. It is the most darling little towel I have ever seen. It will find a special place in my new home!!
Also I have been working on this beaded deer since I lived at the house we sold. I finally finished it today!! So I thought I could share that with you before I leave for Jamaica!!
I am so excited to be going on vacation!! It will be a nice break away from work. I am really exhausted mentally and physically. We leave Wednesday at 7:45 am. So I will be missing in action for a time.
I was so fortunate to win this little dress shaped towell!! Isn't it the cutest little towel you have ever seen! I won this from Hunted Treasures!! Maria and Ruth did a wonderful job on making this sweet little towell.
This is a close up view of the top part of the dress towell.
Maria and Ruth from Hunted Treasures sent along a nice personal note!!
I finally finished my Christmas Reindeer. After hours of gluing cream colored beads to a paper machie deer. It is finally finished. I think its pretty. However it is not as good as the first deers I did. I added a Christmas ribbon and glittered rose and a couple of small ornaments around his neck. I did not put this detail on the first deer I did.
