New Vignette for Master Bath

I have been playing around with vignettes today for my our Master Bath window sill.  I tried three different options. I finally decided on the one with the greenery around the candle sticks.

Craft Project

I thought I would share a few of the craft projects I have completed this past weekend. I am not really a person who decorates with pink in my home. However when I craft , it is my go to color for some reason.  I hope you enjoy!

Hello , my blogging friends.  I started my day  by deep cleaning the dining room. I hand washed all my china. I love tea sets and I love beautiful tea cups. But it does require me to hand wash them when they are dusty.  I do not trust to put them in the dishwasher, even though we have a setting for hand washing.
I hope you enjoy my photos of some of my vignettes.

I had more of a spring vignette on top of this book case. I changed it to more of a fall display. I added an old silver tray and placed in it some sugared fruit. I love the pair plate for fall. The book I got at Marshall's and the lamp I think at Kirkland

This tea set is a gift from my youngest son Jeffrey. He was stationed in Okinawa and he brought this tea set back for me.

This violet set is a miss match. I have collected purple and lavender pieces over the years.


I have been collecting this Moss Rose stuff for years.  Every time I find a different piece I snatch it up and call it mine.

Falling up the Kitchen

My morning was utilized fall cleaning the kitchen. I added a navy blue table cloth from Kohl's  and nave blue valances that I ordered on line.   The table runner and placemat's were purchased at the craft fair at convention center here in Myrtle Beach.
I added a vase of sunflowers and added sunflowers to the shelf on the wall.
Bessie the cow use to be gold, so I got out my trusty spray paint can and gave her an update. The picture was purchased at Kirkland's on clearance.

Craft Projects!

I decided to make a few craft projects. All are handcrafted by me, with the exception I did not paint the birdhouse. It is a yard sale find. If you are the designer that designed the sunflower pattern on my little cushion, please let me know and I will give you full credit. I hope you enjoy!

Today I focused on the family room, sun room and the dining room table. I did a thorough deep cleaning the family room and entry. The sun room I did touch up as I had already gave it a deep cleaning for the fall.
I thought I would share my fall decorations with my blogging friends. I kept it very simple this year. Last year I used a lot of glittered items and I had glitter every where for months. I hope you enjoy my photos.

 The living room mantle was kept very simple. I added to glittered silver pumpkins, and a couple of votive s. The plate was already there so I just left it.

I just added some faux acorns , some pumpkins and two burlap sachets to the bread bowl on the dining room table.

This bench sits in my entry way hall.  It was a yard sale find a couple of years ago. The pillows with the blue are also yard sale finds. The pillow with the fall leaves is one that I embroidered and sewed. If you recognize your leaf design, please let me know and I will give you full credit.

I have this trunk sitting against the odd wall in the entry. This picnic basket with the scarecrow is one I put out every year. I just love it. Its funny how you keep some things for year.
