It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  At least in our house it very much does. I know Thanksgiving is not even here yet, but we will not be home much of December. I wanted to get the decorations done before we leave!

This is the Christmas tree in the sun room. I am keeping it simple this year.

I will be back tomorrow with pics of the decoration in the family room.

  1. Love your tree standing in the windows. I like my tree by the window too. I go outside and look toward my house and see the lights...it makes me smile. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  3. I am like you. I won't be away. In australia, a lot of people put up their tree when the Christmas pagent has been. That happened 2 weeks ago, so this weekend I hope to make a start.
    YOur tree looks so beautiful.

  5. Susan,
LOVE the tree and your decorations!!
The way I look at it is that Canada had their Thanksgiving Holiday a long time ago on the first Monday of October when the Harvest season is actually occurring!! I feel our Thanksgiving is far too late in the season, way after the Harvest has been done!!

Thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to leave such sweet comments!!

    hugs,

  6. Susan, this is just smart. If you are going to be out of town and are not coming back until later in December..then PERFECT! I would do the same thing. Your tree is beautiful as are your other decorations. :) Decorating is a lot of extra work and getting it done ahead of time makes a lot of sense. When you come home..you will be all ready for Christmas. SMART!
