Shopping and Recovering
Good Evening my friends!
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I went shopping this weekend to my own demise. As you all know I have been having some health issues. On Thursday of this past week I had a biopsy on my right breast. I will learn the results of that on Tuesday of this next week. I will keep you informed.
I thought I had recovered enough that I could go shopping on Saturday. I made it to a couple of yard sales, Ross and Kirkland's. I went to Marhall's and had to leave because I was not doing well at all. I did not know if I could even drive home. I sat in my SUV for a few minutes and then I drove home. I was so exhausted when I did get home, which was ten miles away from where I was shopping.
I apologized to my hubbie and told him I thought I was okay. But needless to say I did not get anything done in the house this weekend. I slept all the rest of the day on Saturday. Today I was not as tired but hubbie told me not to do anything but sit in my chair today. I have to work tomorrow.
I wanted to share what I did find on my shopping trip! I hope you enjoy!
KIRKLAND HAUL!
I fell in love with these burlap sunflowers. I will use them in the Master Bedroom to add some more fall decor. I already have a burlap pumpkin. The quilt on the bed is in fall colors as well.
The bird I will use maybe in my Christmas decor. I love the bronzie burgundy color. I will use after Christmas as well, as my home decor is in fall colors any way. Or maybe a better description is earth tone and jewel colors.
I love to burn candles. Kirkland's candles smell so yummy! I bought them at buy one and get the other half price. Those were in acorn and apple scented. The red one is a watermelon scent. I found it in the clearance section in the back.It was half price.
ROSS HAUL
The candle is a pumpkin spice scent. It smells yummy! I love the pattern of this black and white table cloth. This one will go on my kitchen table after the Christmas season. It will stay on the table until spring. I will be on the hunt for a pretty spring cloth that I like as well.
I also bought some cozy socks and a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans. I did not post the photos of those items. I like to leave my blog for mainly home decor.
K-MART
I purchased this table cloth several weeks back. I love the Country Living Line in K-mart. I will use this one during the Christmas season on my kitchen table. It is a 70-inch round one with a ruffle along the bottom edge.
YARD SALE
On my way shopping I passed a Community yard sale. So of course I had to stop. It was late in the morning, so the pickins were slim. I found the cardinal tray and the candle holders. The tray was 75 cents and the candle holders were three dollars. The candle holders were a little pricey for me but I love anything that is beaded.

Some Fall Yard Sale Finds
I just love embroidered linens. This table runner was in the midst of some fabric I bought for 5.00. I did not photograph the fabric but there was a lot of yardage.
These little transfer ware butter pats were 1.00.
The red candlesticks were a dollar. These will get spray painted a cherry red, as of now they are more of a burnt red.
These cute little gray and white birdies were just a quarter!
These Halloween Tea Towel's and the plates and napkins were 2:00. The towels are new they still had the tags.

Hello my friends!
Wow this is the longest I have ever went with out posting a new post. I have been struggling with stress and health problems lately. When I come home from work, I get into my chair and I sit there for the rest of the evening. Thank God, my hubby does not mind cooking dinner, he loves to use the grill during the summer months.
This time of year I get really homesick for Kentucky. We do not have the fall colors here in Myrtle Beach like we do in Kentucky. This is why I generally stick to the bright oranges and reds and browns for my fall decor. It reminds me of the leaves when they turn color.
I have been reading your blogs , I am not leaving comments a lot of the time. It simply takes all my energy to just browse through the different blogs. I really have been living vicariously through my friends in blog land. I hope you enjoy my decorations, I have had them up for about two weeks and just now finding the energy to post about them.
I left the original candles holder that was on my mantle. I just changed out the summer hydrangeas for fall decor. I added the fall candles, I found these at Big Lots about a week ago. The leave plates and some of the pumpkins are all from last years decor.
The pumpkin on the candlestick was a Walmart find. I plan to stop this week and get the tall pumpkin that matches. I plan to paint both candlesticks oil rubbed bronze. The basket vignette is one I had from last year. I may have added a little pumpkin but that was all I changed from this display. I had the scarecrow from last year as well.
I did not do much changing to the dining room table. I changed out the table runner to a fall runner. I then just added two white pumpkins. I left the original candlesticks and the hydrangeas as they were.
This table is in our foyer. It is a wine table, I found it at Salvation Army. I am going to replace this one day with a nice table but this will have to do for now. I added some sunflower heads and placed a pumpkin on a candle stick. The frenchie lamp shade came from Walmart. I got creative with the table topper. It is two lace curtain swags. div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> his vase of natural flora has been in my foyer for about a year now. I just added some seasonal sunflowers and other florals. div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> These are the fall decorations on our bar. This is not a very good picture, I took these with my phone. Please overlook the black electronic boxes that are part of our sound system. My hubby loves his electronic toys. I had these glass apothecary jars. I think I got these from Ole Time pottery. I put the fall foliage in to replace the lemons I originally had in them.
I found these this year sometime at a yard sale. I got them all for five or ten dollars. I don't remember which price exactly. I thought the entertainment center was the perfect place to display them. They are placed where I can grab them up and use them for a fall party to put party foods in the trays and bowl.
These candlesticks I had for a long time. I change the candles out for seasons and holidays. The two fall glass candle holders I found at Big Lots last year.
