Today I focused on the family room, sun room and the dining room table. I did a thorough deep cleaning the family room and entry. The sun room I did touch up as I had already gave it a deep cleaning for the fall.
I thought I would share my fall decorations with my blogging friends. I kept it very simple this year. Last year I used a lot of glittered items and I had glitter every where for months. I hope you enjoy my photos.

The living room mantle was kept very simple. I added to glittered silver pumpkins, and a couple of votive s. The plate was already there so I just left it.
I just added some faux acorns , some pumpkins and two burlap sachets to the bread bowl on the dining room table.

This bench sits in my entry way hall.  It was a yard sale find a couple of years ago. The pillows with the blue are also yard sale finds. The pillow with the fall leaves is one that I embroidered and sewed. If you recognize your leaf design, please let me know and I will give you full credit.

I have this trunk sitting against the odd wall in the entry. This picnic basket with the scarecrow is one I put out every year. I just love it. Its funny how you keep some things for year.
I will share more photos tomorrow , as blogger gets fussy and will not let me post a lot of photos.

  4. Hi Susan ... thanks for visiting Timeless Treasures with a nice comment on my Thrifty finds. Love your Fall decorations, especially the wooden dough bowl with the fruit and acorns. I love and collect all wooden ware and they look good for any season. I'm following you and will be back to see more of your blog.

  5. Hi Susan,
You have added some nice Fall touches to your home. Love the little trunk! Thanks for your visit. I have had a couple of brushes with breast cancer. It's something you never quite shake and when someone you love looses her battle with it, it makes it all the more real. Hope you have a beautiful day and Happy Autumn!

    Blessings,
    Sandi
