I have a question?

Can someone give me idea on how to price these boxes I am altering. I am setting up at a flea market next weekend. I want to try to sell some because I can't keep them all.

Thank you

  1. Have you looked on Etsy for something comparable? Or figure out a price based on cost plus your time plus a profit? Good Luck.

  2. First off, Susan...they are incredibly beautiful. I would suggest pricing them for their content...by that I mean your cost of what you used...then, add the hours it takes [go over minimum wage of course, 'cause there is a lot of artistic nature in the product you're selling] and then the finished product...always add on an extra $10. Hand made is always worth more these days.

  3. I've just spent some time looking at your pretty boxes...they are beautiful. I wouldn't have a single clue as to how much to ask for them. I know you won't have any trouble selling them.
Have fun and....oh, I just read A La Carte's comment, which is an excellent tip. Try looking at Ebay and I'll bet you can get a good idea.

  4. Hi Susan,

I love the frames just the way they are with cherry wood.

    No question.

I'm learning to listen more for the message than throwing a fit about it going against my wishes. lol

  6. Susan your treasures are fabulous. Great finds & bargains. Love the red box. Now those pictures are exquisite, I'd have snapped them up, also. Lucky you, my friend.

    Have a beautiful day ~
