How I spent my afternoon!

I apologize up front for these pictures. I don't know what happened. But I wanted to share with you how I spent my afternoon.
I took the afternoon off for a mental health break. I needed to create something....anything.........So here is what I came up with, it was a quick and short project.
I found the florals all at the Dollar Tree. The container was a yard sale find. I loved the copper color. It matches my master bedroom so very well. I know interior designers think silk flowers are of bad taste, but I still use them anyway. In the summer I have more fresh florals out, but for now.....these make me happy.

  2. You make wonderful floral arrangements. I also love the beautiful wreath you created a few posts down. Wow! And that was out of supplies that you already had. Well done!

  3. I use silk flowers inside because I feel wrong cutting my fresh flowers. Sad. Like they are a living creature and deserve to be free outside. Yeah, weird. But silk flowers? Yay!

  4. Love your flowers you have arranged in the gorgeous vase! I use silk flowers too in my house. When summer comes around I do cut fresh ones from my garden!

  6. Hi Susan, Well I wish I could come up with something as pretty when taking a break. You really pulled a beautiful look together using Dollar store finds. Nothing wrong with silk flowers. After all, a designer somewhere created them at one point. I use them too and especially when my garden blooms are not ready.

  8. I'm a big fan of artificial flowers, Susan. I think they look so much more real than they used to.

What a beautiful arrangement you've assembled. Enjoy it (and thanks for showing it to us)!
